Shotgun !!!!!!!!!

Okay, there is a great story behind this. While out our on walk, we were saying that it would be great if Charlene was with us. Someone else said yeah she would really like to be able to walk with us. Someone else said she hopes by June she is strong enough to walk with us. Well, the wheels(get it) started turning, and the mind started clinking (rusty). Hey, we can solve this problem. Erica said wouldn't it be great if we could get Charlene a wheelchair. We can push her around the neighborhood and she would be able to enjoy the fresh air and the great girl time we have been having for the last several weeks. That comment started it all. Erica and I hit Craiglist looking for a used wheelchair. Then we thought someone has to have one. Erica and one of her connections were able to come through. So Friday night, Erica stopped by and picked up the wheelchair and headed over to my house. The plan, get Char out with us on our walk. At first we weren't too sure how to approach it. What we did know was that she would never take offense to it. Maybe a little embarrassed but not offended. We just parked the chair by the front door and when she answered we told her we were here to take her for a walk. She laughed and said really, and grabbed her shoes. Curt told us that we were really going to make her feel dumb. I think she was a little embarrassed at first, but loved the idea of being able to be with us. We walked and pushed for almost two miles, need I really tell you that we gabbed and giggled and giggled the whole time. After the maiden voyage, we decided that some work had to be done on the chair. Stay tuned.......

Charlene, you are such a inspiration to everyone around you and although we tell you all the time I hope we are able to show you just how much you mean to us. This being one of those times.
